Reduce slip and fall hazardsIntroducing the new imop Lite
The imop Lite is the latest addition to the i-mop family. Cleaning spaces that until now could only be cleaned by hand is a thing of the past. By expanding the current range of i-mops i-team is offering a tool with outstanding manoeuvrability and portability, making it perfect for mobility cleaning. The imop Lite means fast and efficient mechanized cleaning. In an interview with Frank van de Ven (CEO i-team Global) we learn more about the imop Lite.
Why was the imop Lite created?
The imop Lite was created because we saw that people wanted to use i-mops, but women thought the weight of the i-mop XL was too heavy to take the stairs. The most important development of the imop Lite is the weight. Not the size, but the weight. With the development of the imop Lite we wanted to take the user into account and keep the weight within 13 kg. The benchmark is therefore also the weight.
What makes the imop Lite innovative?
The combination of weight and having a full scrubber dryer machine is what makes the imop Lite unique. It has all the qualifications of a scrubber dryer within 13 kg. In addition, the imop Lite has a very slim and slender shape of a sailing ship.
Were there signals in the market that a smaller scrubber dryer machine was needed?
We can see that certain people still carry a bucket and mop and not an i-mop. There can be two reasons for this. This can be a financial reason or a skill reason. For example, machines can be just too heavy or too large. With the imop Lite we respond to this because it is a light scrubber dryer.
What makes the imop Lite unique compared to the imop XL and XXL? What are the differences?
The lightweight is the most important feature. With the lightweight, you have the manoeuvrability. This makes it easier for you to clean buildings with stairs. Walking distances are also easier with the imop Lite.
The imop Lite is unique due to its weight and having all the features of the i-mop technology. It moves with ease and still provides considerable floor pressure. The imop Lite also has the water management system so that you can achieve maximum results with a small amount of water.
The imop Lite is an easier object to transport from one facility to another. You can easily put it in and out of a small car and visit different buildings. This means that you will do cleaning on the spot. You drive to the building, clean and continue to the next building. The weight you have is much lighter than the XL. It is easy to walk into a parking lot, street or shopping street and take the machine with you. You are much more mobile as a cleaner, that's why it's called mobility in cleaning.
In which segments can you use the imop Lite?
The imop lite focuses on what we call mobility. You can think of bathrooms in hotels, care homes or retirement homes. Manual cleaning in the bathroom is no longer necessary. You have faster and better cleaning with the imop Lite. It is only effective when the imop Lite is used when, for example, you have a corridor with 10 bathrooms in a hotel. Cleaning a single bathroom with the imop Lite makes little sense. Using the imop Lite is much more efficient when you have to clean 10 bathrooms in a corridor.
With the imop Lite you can also focus on segments where lifting and moving the machine is important. The imop Lite can be used well in public transport, such as buses and trains. The machine is good in small spaces and the low deck allows it to reach under and around objects. We also focus on market segments with small areas: occupied spaces.
Doing your part for our environment
A combination of powerful mechanical action and advanced solution recovery now make it possible to clean more thoroughly with a fraction of the water and chemical used by traditional cleaning methods. The i-mop reduces environmental impact by over 75%!
Reduce slip and fall hazards - Leaves floors dry & safe
Wet mopping with dirty water and slippery floors are a thing of the past. The imop’s advanced suction technology extracts virtually all of the cleaning solution and whatever liquid happens to be on the floor, leaving floors dry and safe to walk on almost immediately.
